The Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Tokyo, Japan opened its doors on February 28, 2019. Boasting 3000 square meters across four floors, Starbucks anticipated that at any moment at least 6000 people could be expected on the premises. Starbucks needed a queue and table management system that could manage customer lines, reduce wait times, and turn tables quickly. I designed the entire iPad app experience, which included customer registration, an easy to use waitlist management, text and call notifications, a public waitlist view, and a table assignment system. A separate interface was designed for management to access daily analytic reports and to configure queue and table settings.
